She had a great time playing with the Big Eight Select Team and played exceptionally well. Vantrece will play the post position this year and will be counted on to dominate the inside for us. She has tremendous talent and has improved from last year because of her hard work and tremendous attitude. Vantrece will be an impact player for us this year, and will be counted on to lead the team on and off the court. She knows how to win and will expect nothing less. She's the type of player that a coach likes to have on her team. Vantrece leads by example."
