Bracey was instrumental in elevating the success of the program during his tenure.
In the 2024-25 season, Bracey continued to play a key role in the development of Grace Slaughter, who led the Tigers with 15.0 points per game and earned SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year honors. Slaughter shot 45.9 percent from beyond the arc on the season, an 8.8 percent increase from freshman to sophomore year under Bracey’s development.
Bracey also aided in the development of sophomore guard Averi Kroenke, who placed eighth in the SEC with a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio.
In 2023-24, Bracey led the development of Tiger freshman Grace Slaughter and Abbey Schreacke. Slaughter earned All-SEC Freshman Team honors and ranked fourth in the among first-year players in scoring at 11.6 points per game while Schreacke led the conference’s freshman class in 3-point percentage at 38.4%.
While under Bracey, Mama Dembele earned All-SEC Defensive Team recognition as the Tigers’ point guard ranked top 10 nationally in both steals and assists.
The year concluded the decorated career of Hayley Frank who, under Bracey, became the fourth Tiger in program history to record 2,000 career points and ranked seventh in the conference in scoring.
During the 2022-23 season, he assisted the Tigers to a third straight WNIT appearance. With Bracey on the sideline, Missouri notched an 18-13 record including a 14-2 start to the year. The Tigers won their first postseason contest since 2019, defeating Illinois State in the first round of the WNIT.
Bracey coached Frank to Second Team All-SEC honors for the second consecutive season as she scored a career-best 15.4 points per game while etching her name into the program record books as one of the top-10 scorers in Mizzou women’s basketball history. Additionally, he contributed to the rapid development of Ashton Judd as the first-year guard garnered All-SEC Freshman Team recognition and was one of the best outside shooters in the SEC as her 44.9% 3-point clip ranked third in the conference.
In 2021-22, while alongside Bracey, Frank continued to see a rise in her play from her first season. The Strafford, Mo. native, earned her first Second-Team All-SEC selection after leading the team with 15.0 points and sitting atop the conference’s 3-point percentage leaderboard (.462).
During the 2019-20 campaign, Bracey led Aijha Blackwell and Frank to All-SEC Freshman Team honors. In addition, he heavily assisted in capping off the decorated careers of Amber Smith, Hannah Schuchts, Jordan Chavis and Jordan Roundtree, who took the floor for three NCAA Tournament teams for Mizzou. Smith finished her career ranked 10th in three-pointers made (126), 10th in three-point percentage (.356) and 20th in scoring (1,299 points). Porter was the second player in Mizzou history to be given the Sixth Woman of the Year honor, as she averaged 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in 22 contests. In addition, Porter was third on the team in blocks (14), despite playing 13 fewer games, and shot a remarkable 85.7 percent from the free throw line.
