Ava competed for Liberty North HS under coach Ken Peek…She was the Class 5 Sectional 4 champion in 2017 and 2018, the Class 5 District 8 champion in 2018, the Suburban Red Conference champion from 2016-2018, placed third at the 5A State Championships in 2017 and 2018, and was the runner-up in 2016 all while competing in the Javelin.
