Indoor Track – Began the season at the Missouri Holiday Opener (Dec. 8) placing second in the shot put with a throw of 16.99m (55-9) … Placed fifth at the Tyson Invitational (Feb. 10) and first at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (Feb. 16) with throws of 17.44m (57-2.75) and 17.62m (57-9.75), respectively … Finished the indoor season strong with a new personal record of 17.71m (58-1.25) at the SEC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25).
Outdoor Track – Opened the season with two first-place finishes at the CMU Open (March 17) in the shot put and discus with throws of 17.68m (58-0.25) and 49.36m (161-11), respectively … Set a new personal record in a first place finish in the shot put at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (March 24), throwing 18.58m (60-11.5), which also placed him at seventh all-time in program history … Placed second at the John McDonnell Invitational (April 15) in the discus with a personal record throw of 52.14m (171-1) … Placed 12th in the shot put at the SEC Outdoor Championships (May 12) with a throw of 17.65m (57-11) … Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary (May 26) in the shot put, finishing 25th with a throw of 17.79m (58-4.5).
