Indoor Track - Luke kicked off his Tiger career at the Border Battle, where he placed fourth in the pole vault field with a top bar of 4.10m (13-5.25)...He continued to improve throughout the indoor season, vaulting 4.35m (14-3.25) at both the Missouri Invitational and Tiger Invitational before closing the season with a fourth-place finish at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge where he hit a new PR of 4.58m (15-0.25).
Outdoor Track - Luke continued improving into the outdoor season, besting his top bar from the indoor season during the John McDonnell Invitational, where he placed tenth with a jump of 4.65m (15-3)...He followed that up with a second-place finish during the SIUE Gateway Invitational before returning home to mark his first winning effort at the Tom Botts Invitational, ending the season with a 4.60m (15-1) performance.
