Emma Raabe joined the staff as Director of Player Development/Director of Camps in August 2025. Raabe returns to her alma mater from Omaha, where she spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach.
"We’re thrilled to welcome Emma back home as our director of player development,” Mizzou Head Softball Coach Larissa Anderson said. “Her experience as a Tiger and the success she had as a coach at Omaha have prepared her to make a tremendous impact on our program.”
In her time with Omaha, Raabe helped the Mavericks post their first ever regular season title as well as back-to-back Summit League championships. This led to two NCAA regional appearances, one of which resulted in a regional final against Mizzou in 2024. Raabe primarily worked with the infield, helping them attain national recognition after posting a .980 fielding percentage in '24 and a .981 fielding percentage in '25, as that was ranked #3 amongst all of Division I both years. In addition to that, Raabe worked with the catchers and hitters daily.
During her time in a Missouri uniform from 2019-22, Raabe led the Tigers to a 2021 NCAA Super Regional appearance and two NCAA Regional appearances. Guiding the program to a 134-71 record during her four-year career, the first baseman appeared in 168 games with 138 starts and recorded 800 putouts with a .988 fielding percentage. Raabe also posted 16 home runs, 18 doubles, 59 RBIs, and a .369 OBP during her tenure.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Raabe was a Class A first-team all-state honoree out of Marian High School where she helped the school earn their first ever state championship. In 2022, she returned to Marian as an assistant coach and helped the Crusaders to the school's second state title. On the club circuit, she was a coach for Nebraska Gold from 2020-24.
She graduated from the University of Missouri in 2022 with a degree in business management. She earned her masters in business administration from the University of Omaha at Nebraska in 2024.
