2006: In her junior season, Allison Kennewell played infield and rotated between shortstop (14 appearances), second base (eight appearances), third base (eight appearances) and first base (one appearance) for the Tigers. A starter in 32 of Missouri's 52 games, Kennewell recorded a season high 10 putouts from her time at first base March 26 against then-No. 15 Oklahoma. Taking on in-state rival Missouri State March 4 at the Missouri State Spring Classic in Springfield, Mo., Kennewell launched her first double of 2006. With a two out knock to right field, Kennewell drove in Missouri's second run of the game, later scoring on Micaela Minner's grand slam in the top of the fourth inning. Honors: Academic All-Big 12

2005: Kennewell saw action in 23 of Missouri's games, starting in 11 and making 36 appearances at the plate. Kennewell's first RBI of the season came Feb. 12, at the Seminole Classic against Nicholls State. Her first hit of the season, a single to right field, came on Feb. 25, against Louisville. Recording back-to-back two-RBI games, on Feb. 25, against Louisville and later against Minnesota, Kennewell went on to crush back-to-back home runs in Missouri's second game against North Dakota State, April 27, sending the first pitch of the third inning over the right field fence and the second pitch of the fifth inning over the center field wall. Kennewell scored five runs and managed 26 putouts on the season from her work at second base, third base and shortstop.

2004: The only Tiger to record two three RBI games, Kennewell tallied the second most RBI on the team with 21. In her 46 starts and 137 plate appearances, Kennewell scored 16 runs and tallied 27 hits. Kennewell helped Missouri to two wins on the season with game-winning home runs against No. 20 Baylor on April 17 and No. 13 Nebraska on May 9. Kennewell tripled against Portland State on March 23, helping Missouri to an 8-0 shutout of the Vikings. Kennewell's fifth and final two-hit game of the year came in Missouri's second game against Texas Tech on May 2. Competing in Missouri's exciting 13-inning game against Oklahoma in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships on May 15, Kennewell had a single to left field for one of five Missouri hits on the game. Kennewell's final contribution of the year came May 21, against Mississippi Valley State in Missouri's second and final game of the NCAA Regional Tournament in Los Angeles. In her third at-bat of the game, Kennewell blasted a double, driving in two with her hit to right center. In 48 games at second base, Kennewell racked up 86 putouts, including three games with seven putouts, two of which were back-to-back (Feb. 6-UTC, Feb. 7-Florida and March 2-Oklahoma City). With a good hitting eye, Kennewell walked 16 times, the most of any member of the Tiger team.

Eden Prairie High School: Coached by Rob Garry at Eden Prairie High School, in Eden Prairie, Minn., Kennewell was a member of the state champion softball team her junior year (2002), and was an integral part of her team that won the sectional championships her senior season (2003). Kennewell was an All-Conference, All-Sectional and All-State selection for three consecutive years (2001-02-03) and was named to the All-State Tournament team as a senior. The three time Golden Glove Award winner earned four letters in high school. A member of the National Honor Society, Kennewell graduated in the top-10 percent of her class receiving the Laurel Scholar Award for outstanding academic and athletic achievements. Kennewell was a member of the Minnesota Peppers softball club team.

Personal: Born Sept. 6, 1985, to parents Phil and Terry Kennewell in Hayward, Calif., Alli has two sisters, Kristin, (23), and Lauren, (16), and one brother Matt, (12). Kennewell is a psychology major.
