2017 OUTLOOK
Promising defensive prospect who moves to the line after spending his first year in the Tiger program as a linebacker ... Added size and strength over the off-season, and showed immediate flashes in the spring of being a potential contributor in the fall, before he sustained an injury that sidelined him for a good portion of camp ... Is healthy for the fall, and is expected to work his way into the lineup on Saturdays.

Played in six games as a redshirt freshman and totaled one solo tackle on the season … Tallied a solo tackle in Mizzou’s win over Arkansas (11/25).

A relative newcomer to the sport of football, coming to Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla., from Lagos, Nigeria, in 2013, Agbasimere is an impressive blend of speed and size and has plenty of upside for the Mizzou coaching staff with his strong, tough and physical game being his greatest attribute … A three-star recruit by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN … Came to America from Nigeria through the Ejike Ugboaja Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides high school and college scholarships to Nigerian athletes … Also competed in track and field at Montverde, competing in the sprints, long jump and triple jump … High School Coach – Brian Treweek.
