A relative newcomer to the sport of football, coming to Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla., from Lagos, Nigeria, in 2013, Agbasimere is an impressive blend of speed and size and has plenty of upside for the Mizzou coaching staff with his strong, tough and physical game being his greatest attribute … A three-star recruit by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN … Came to America from Nigeria through the Ejike Ugboaja Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides high school and college scholarships to Nigerian athletes … Also competed in track and field at Montverde, competing in the sprints, long jump and triple jump … High School Coach – Brian Treweek.
