- Boasted a 1.47 ERA as a senior and a 2.70 career ERA at Parkway Central under head coach Scott Davis, guiding the team to conference, district and sectional titles.
- In addition to boasting impressive pitching numbers, he hit .375 with five homers and 23 RBI while scoring 27 runs and stealing 14 bases during his senior season.
- Finished his high school career as a .355 hitter with six homers and 50 RBI while stealing 37 bases and scoring 69 runs
