? Helped Smithville High School win the District and Sectional Championships in 2014 after not allowing a single run in two playoff games whiles striking out 17 batters.
? Hit .379 with 19 RBIs, while posting a 5-5 record as a pitcher with a 1.71 ERA and 71 strikeouts.
? Went 10-6 in his varsity career for coach Jeff Cain, with a 1.36 ERA and 117 strikeouts.
