Mizzou's Houck Named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou baseball righty Tanner Houck (Collinsville, Ill.) has been named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, as announced by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper on Wednesday (June 3). Houck is the 11th Tiger to earn Freshman All-America distinction and he is the first to do so since 2007 when current graduate assistant coach Trevor Coleman took home the same honor as a catcher. Houck is the first Tiger pitcher to be named Freshman All-American since Travis Wendte in 2002.
