Prepped at St. John Vianney High School in St. Louis where he was a four-year letterwinner …. Member of squad that finished runner-up at the Missouri state championships his senior season but missed the season due to injury … Posted a 2.24 ERA as a junior and matched the program’s single-season saves record with eight in 2023.
