- Had an outstanding career under head coach Craig Faulkner at Venice High School
- In his senior season, he went 5-2 on the mound with 2.05 ERA and 48 strikeouts
- Guided VHS to 7A District championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017
- Helped VHS earn Regional championship in both 2016 and 2017
- Led VHS to State Champions in 2017 and State Runner Up in 2016
- Awarded FACA All-Star Classic Selection in 2017
