JUNIOR (2020)

  • Once again served as Tigers' everyday catcher in shortened season, appearing in 14 games (13 starts)
  • Hit .275 (14-for-51) with eight runs scored, one home run and eight RBI
  • Solid defensive option behind the plate, committing only one error in 114 chances (.991 fielding percentage)
  • Produced season-high three hits in perfect day at the dish vs. Western Illinois (March 7)
  • Tallied pair of RBI in victory vs. Texas (March 1)
  • Big season-opening series at Jacksonville State (Feb. 14-16), highlighted by back to back multi-hit and multi-runs scored games to open the year

  • Seven stolen bases in SEC only action ranked tied for ninth in the league
  • Caught 14 would-be base stealers behind the dish, ranking fourth in the SEC. Eight of those occurred in SEC play, also ranking fourth-best in the league
  • Big afternoon at No. 23 Tennessee (May 4), going 3-for-3 with two runs scored, home run and season-high four RBI
  • Enjoyed a big series overall in Knoxville (May 3-5), hitting .417 (5-for-12) with three runs scored, home run and seven RBI
  • Nearly unstoppable at the plate vs. South Carolina (April 26-28), hitting .692 (9-for-13) with two runs scored, two doubles and five RBI
  • Matched his single-game career-high with 4-for-4 series finale vs. the Gamecocks

FRESHMAN (2018)

  • Had a solid freshman season despite missing the first several weeks with a broken foot suffered in preseason camp
  • Hit .274 in 40 games, including 28 starts, and was Mizzou’s everyday starting DH by the end of the season
  • Also drew 21 walks and reached base at a .393 clip with five doubles and six RBI on the year
  • Also scored 16 runs and tallied 10 multi-hit performances in his 40 games
  • Posted a career-high four hits vs. Kentucky (April 28) while scoring two runs and driving in another; that was part of an eight-game stretch that saw him hit .462 (12-for-26) with six runs and three multi-hit games

HIGH SCHOOL (STONEMAN DOUGLAS)

  • Had a standout career under head coach Todd Fitz-Gerald at Stoneman Douglas High School
  • During his senior season SDHS went 22-5, while he hit .578 with two home runs and 24 RBI
  • Earned All-County Player of the Year
  • Guided SDHS to 9A State Champions in 2016
