Kehlenbrink started nine games and made 14 apperances for the Tigers. He pitched 34 innings in his first season. His 40 strikeouts ranks him fifth on the team and he only allowed 19 walks. Kehlenbrink made a name for himself as a standout pitcher out of Parkway South HS ... ranked as the eighth-best recruit in the state of Missouri (no. 2 LHP) and ranked 362nd overall nationally (no. 40 LHP) by Perfect Game ... his fastball topped out at 96 mph during his prep career ... earned St. Louis All-Metro honors his senior season after a 1.84 ERA performance through 45.2 innings, striking out 81 batters ... also performed at the plate, batting .402 with 12 doubles and 21 RBIs ... posted a 5-1 record as a junior, heralding a 3.11 ERA and striking out 59 batters in 27.0 innings.
