A talented multi-sport athlete, Malpass adds more speed to the Tigers' 2024 recruiting class after a standout prep career at John Carroll Catholic High School in Hoover, Ala. Rated as the No. 7 outfielder in Alabama in this year's class, Malpass hit .418 with 36 steals in 2022 to earn Alabama Class 5A All-State and All-Birmingham 'Terrific 20' recognition. He has starred on the hardwood and the track for the Cavaliers as well, earning all-metro recognition in basketball and capturing state titles in the 4x400-meter relay and 300-meter hurdles.
