Elly competed at Naperville North HS for coaches Joanna Wilson, Dan Iverson, Brian Webb, Anna Kraftson, and Lauren Krok...She also competed for the North Naperville XC Club...CROSS COUNTRY...As a team, she was a four-time Conference, Regional, and Sectional Champion (2011-14)...She was a member of the 2012 and 2014 IHSA Championship team...Was a member of the fourth-place team at the 2014 Nike Nationals...As an individual, she was a three-time Nike Cross Nationals qualifier (2012-14)...A three-time IHSA All-State finisher in cross country, she placed 14th in 2012, tenth in 2013, and 12th in 2014...TRACK & FIELD...Elly was a five-time IHSA Championships qualifier on the track, claiming the state title in the 4x800m in 2015...She also earned All-State honors for the 3200m in 2013 (seventh) and 2014 (eighth)...She was All-Academic for Cross Country and Track (2011-15), and was a two-time Cross Country MVP (2013-14)...Earned the Legacy Award for Athletics/Leadership/Academics in 2015...Was awarded the 2013 JKB Leadership Award.
