Outdoor Track – Ran the 1500m run at four meets for the Tigers … Finished the year with his best showing at the Tom Botts Invitational (April 20), producing a new personal record (4:06.64) and finishing 11^th.

Austin ran for Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Mo., under coaches Sean O’Connor, Matt Warren and Steven Stallis … CROSS COUNTRY … Finished eighth at the 2013 MSHSAA State XC Championships, clocking a time of 16:09.04 … Earned a fourth-place finish at the 2014 MSHSAA State XC Championships with a time of 15:48.12 … Posted a 5k personal record at the 2015 Chile Pepper Festival, clocking a time of 15:22.95 … Placed 11^th as a senior at the 2015 State meet, crossing the finish line with a time of 16:19.67 … TRACK & FIELD … Earned All-State honors in the 4x800m relay as a freshman at the 2013 MSHSAA State Track & Field Championships … Earned four three All-State honors as a sophomore at the 2014 State meet , winning a state title in the 800m, while finishing second in the 4x800m relay and second in the 1600m run … Earned four All-State honors at the 2015 State meet, finishing first in the 4x800m relay, fifth in the 1600m run, sixth in the 800m run and sixth in the 4x400m relay … Won two state titles and earned three All-State honors as a senior at the 2016 State meet, finishing first in the 800m run with a personal record time of 1:54.06, first in the 4x800m relay and fourth in the 1600m run.
