Placed second at 184 pounds at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 21), winning two matches by technical fall and one by fall at the tournament.
Won the UNI Open (Dec. 9) at 184 pounds, defeating Iowa’s Myles Wilson, 5-3, in the finals.
Placed first at 184 pounds in the freshman/sophomore division at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 18), winning two matches by bonus points in the process on finishing first.
Finished fifth at 184 pounds at the Maryville Brand Kaufman Open (Nov. 11), his first collegiate tournament.
