2016
- Played in 12 games as a freshman, starting seven, and hit .214 with a .290 OBP, four RBI and six runs scored.
- Earned his first start of the year against Seton Hall (2/21).
- Tallied his first career multi-hit game against LSU (4/15), with an RBI, a double with a walk.
- Again had a multi-hit game against Missouri State (4/26), driving in three runs and scoring another.
- Hit .313 with runners on base in his limited action and reached base at a .500 clip with leading off an inning.
- Three of his four RBIs on the year came with two outs.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Excellent baseball player, earning 2014 Underclass Third Team All-America honors from PerfectGame
- PerfectGame rated him a perfect 10.0 on the prospect scale, which projects him to be an elite-level college player
- Drafted in the 15th round of the MLB Draft in 2015 by his hometown Kansas City Royals.
- 2015 Perfect Game Second Team All-American and All-Region First Team by PerfectGame

- Comes from a very athletic family, as he has an older brother, Brandon, who played baseball at Michigan State, while another older brother, Tyler, wrestled at Central Michigan
- Chose Mizzou over offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Nebraska, Oregon, Minnesota and Vanderbilt among others
- Intends to major in journalism or public relations while at Mizzou
- Lists a few of his hobbies outside of football as fishing, playing video games, and free-style rapping.
