Indoor Track - Valeska focused on the 800m run during the indoor season, starting with a first-place finish at the Missouri Invitational (2:18.34)...She consistently improved upon that time throughout the season, first with a 2:17.99 performance at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet, then 2:15.87 for third at the Tiger Invitational, and finally an indoor PR of 2:14.80 at the Tyson Invitational...She closed the regular season with a third-place effort during the 600m run at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (1:38.44)...Valeska's final meet of the season was the SEC Championships, where she was a member of the fifth-place DMR team (11:30.08).
