Maya ran for Brandeis High School in San Antonio, Texas, for coaches Judy Ditmar and Katrina Logwood … TRACK & FIELD … Helped lead Brandeis High School to four straight district championships (2014-17) and an area championship (2016) while in high school … Set her 400m dash personal record at the 2015 Region 4-6A Meet, finishing third in the finals with a time of 56.76 … Ran the second leg on the 4x400m relay team that qualified for the state meet following a second place finish at the 2017 Region 4-6A Meet, crossing the finish line with a time of 3:54.55.
