• Similar to Mizzou, OU is entering the contest having won four of its last six – posting double-digit wins over Auburn and at LSU last week.

• Mohamed Wague has a team-best 6.8 rebounds.
• The Sooners own a scoring offense of 82.7 with a scoring defense of 77.7
SERIES HISTORY
• Oklahoma holds a 116-99 edge in 215 all-time meetings in the series.
• The Tigers have played the Sooners more than any other SEC school – having met in as league foes in the Missouri Valley Conference, Big Six, Big Seven, Big Eight, Big 12 and now SEC.
• Overall, the Sooners are the Tigers' fifth-most played opponent in school history.
• The home team has won all three meeting so far as SEC foes, including an 88-87 thriller that Mizzou won on Jan. 24.
• In the first meeting, Trent Pierce forced overtime with a buzzer beater before Mark Mitchell added a second buzzer beater in the extra frame for the one-point victory.
SEC TOURNAMENT POSSIBILITIES
• With two games left in the regular season, the Tigers currently sit in a three-way tie for fifth place with a 10-6 conference record.
• MU would be the No. 4 seed due to its 2-0 mark versus tied teams (Kentucky and Tennessee).
• The Tigers can still finish anywhere from third to 10th in the final standings.
• With a win on Tuesday, the Tigers will secure a top seven seed and first-round bye.
RESUME METRICS
• As we enter March, Mizzou aims to continue to build a strong resume for the postseason.
• The Tigers rank seventh in the SEC and 33rd in the nation in the key metric of Wins Above Bubble this season and No. 32 in strength of record.
• Mizzou also owns a 5-5 mark in quad one games and a 5-4 mark versus quad two teams (with zero losses versus quads three and four).
• MU is tied for 26th nationally with 10 combined Q1 and Q2 wins and is one of 25 schools with 10 Q1 and Q2 wins and zero Q3 and Q4 defeats.
• Since the return of two starters to the lineup in January, Mizzou has also seen its NET ranking rise from No. 94 to No. 53 (up 41 spots).
• The Tigers are targeting a second-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament (and a third bid in four years under Gates) – MU last made back-to-back tournaments with five straight from 2009-13.
SEC WINS MARK
• Mizzou reached double-digit SEC wins Saturday and now target another league milestone.
• With a 10-6 mark in SEC play, the Tigers are just one victory shy of its most wins since joining the conference in 2012 (14 seasons).
• Mizzou's best SEC campaigns came in 2012-13 and 2022-23 when it went 11-7.
• Currently, Mizzou reached 10 wins for the fifth time in 14 years – and the third time in four years under Coach Gates.
ROAD TRIPPING
• Along with its overall success this season, the Tigers are also aiming to continue their strong play away from home.
• Mizzou currently owns a 4-4 record in SEC road games this season.
• With a victory on Tuesday, the Tigers would post a winning away record in SEC play for just the second time (also 2020-21), while its five road conference wins would be tied for fifth most in school history.
PLAYING THEIR BEST BALL
• Mizzou is peaking at the right time as a strong month has put MU in a good position in March.
• The Tigers have won six of their last eight games, including a pair versus ranked foes.
• Noticeably, Mizzou is shooting much better during that time frame in all areas.
• The eight-game run also coincides with Trent Pierce returning to the starting five after battling injuries the first half of the season.
