COLUMBIA, Mo. — Mizzou tennis heads south for the Battle for the Boot JAE Foundation Open hosted by TCU, from Thursday, Oct. 22 to Saturday, Oct. 24. The open will be held at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Tigers are sending four freshmen: Irina Anghel (Bucharest, Romania), Leticia Bazan (Lima, Peru), Alba Salles Canudas (Barcelona, Spain) and Daria Budko (Frisco, Texas). The Open includes competitors from Arizona, BYU, Houston, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Rice, TCU and Utah.

The tournament is put on to bring light to the JAE Foundation, which raises awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
