COLUMBIA, Mo. — Mizzou men's golf returns to action this week, traveling to Miami for The Bryson Invitational, Oct. 12-14, at Trump National Doral.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The Bryson Invitational begins Monday with 18 holes of play, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday and Wednesday. The tournament will feature a total of 54 holes across Trump National Doral’s historic Blue Monster Course, a par-72 layout which measures 7,590 yards in length.
Located in Miami, the Blue Monster has hosted some of PGA Tour’s most notable events and is known for its length and challenging layout.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The Tigers will compete against a 12-team field at Trump National Doral, including Furman, Oregon State, Michigan, Charleston, FGCU, Seton Hall, Stetson, Troy, Grand Canyon, Washington State and Coastal Carolina. The field features teams from multiple conferences, with Mizzou representing the SEC.
LAST WEEK AT WILLIAM H. TUCKER INVITATIONAL
Men's golf closed out the William H. Tucker Invitational last week, finishing 14th at 9-over par at the University of New Mexico Championship Course. The Tigers carded a 1-over-par 289 in the final round, as freshman Antoni Hawkins led the Tigers for the first time this season, carding an even-par to finish the tournament. Hawkins recorded four birdies in the final round to finish 35th individually.
