Swimming and Diving Closes Out Day One of SMU Classic

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou swimming and diving opened the 2026-27 season at the SMU Classic on Friday inside the Robson & Lindley Aquatic Center.

After the first session, the men’s team is in third place with a score of 114 while the women’s team is placed sixth with 118 points.

Freshman Tori Yamamura made her Tigers debut and took home silver with a time of 53.28 in the 100 fly.

Freshman Amelia Lee made her first collegiate appearance and placed third in the 100 back with a time of 52.90.

Senior Quinlan Gould led the Mizzou men and earned silver in the 100 back with a finals time of 46.48.
