MIZZOU SOFTBALL
Mizzou softball returns to action in 2026, after just missing out on an NCAA Tournament bid – snapping a 17-season streak of consecutive appearances. The Tigers tallied 25 wins in 2025, as they had the ninth-toughest schedule in the country.
Head coach Larissa Anderson enters her eighth season with a 217-115 record as the Tigers' manager and has led them to five NCAA Regional appearances and a pair of Super Regionals.
The Tigers return five position starters from last season with catcher/outfielder Stefania Abruscato, outfielder Claire Cahalan, utility player Kayley Lenger, infielder/outfielder Madison Uptegrove and first baseman Abby Hay.
In the circle, Mizzou starters Cierra Harrison and Marissa McCann return for another season.
Newcomers to watch for the Tigers include: 2025 Missouri Gatorade Softball Player of the Year Abby Carr, East Carolina's single-season home run leader Emma Jackson, and Houston's former ace Rylee Michalak.
