Coming off a thrilling overtime victory, the Mizzou men's basketball team hits the road for another SEC contest at No. 22 Alabama on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on SEC Network.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Missouri owns a 14-6 overall mark in 2025-26 with a 4-3 record versus SEC foes.
• Mizzou is coming off a thrilling 88-87 overtime over Oklahoma on Saturday with three Tigers scoring 20-plus points – Mark Mitchell (25), T.O. Barrett (21) and Jayden Stone (20).
• Mitchell leads MU in scoring (17.7) and rebounding (5.5), while ranking second in assists (3.2).
• Stone (15.4) and Jacob Crews (11.3) also score in double figures this season.
• Anthony Robinson II leads Missouri with 3.6 assists per game, while Shawn Phillips Jr. has a team-best 1.6 blocks per game.
• The Tigers are averaging 81.1 points per game, while allowing 73.0.
ABOUT THE CRIMSON TIDE
• Alabama is 13-6 overall this season and is ranked No. 23 in both national polls.
• The Crimson Tide are 3-3 in SEC play, falling to Tennessee in their most recent contest, 79-73.

SERIES HISTORY
• In a series that dates back to 1977, Alabama holds a 15-8 advantage against the Tigers.
• The home team has won seven of the last eight regular-season meetings with MU owning a 1-8 record at Alabama (only win was in 2018).
• Last season, 15th-ranked MU earned a 110-98 win over No. 4 Alabama at Mizzou Arena. Mark Mitchell led Mizzou with 31 points as the Tigers' 110 points are their most ever in an SEC game.

• The Mizzou coaching staff is set to participate in Suits and Sneakers Week in support of the NABC Coaches vs. Cancer.
• Coaches vs. Cancer was started by former Mizzou head coach Norm Stewart in 1993.
• Since 1993, the NABC has raised more than $179 million for the American Cancer Society.
CLOSE GAMES ONLY
• Fans are in for a treat this year during MU games.
• All seven of the Tigers' SEC games have been within four in the final two minutes with five of the seven within a single possession in the last minute of play.
• Overall, through seven SEC games, Mizzou has outscored opponents by a single point, 532-531.
NOT ONE, BUT TWO BUZZER BEATERS
• No game was more thrilling for the Tigers than the last one with two buzzer beaters leading Mizzou to an 88-87 overtime win over Oklahoma.
• Trailing by three, Trent Pierce sent the game into overtime with a 3-pointer from the logo.
• Oklahoma then took a two-point lead with 4.8 seconds left in the extra session before Mark Mitchell took the inbounds and added a triple of his own as time expired for the 88-87 win.
• The buzzer beaters are the first for Mizzou since DeAndre Gholston in 2023 against Tennessee.
NEW STAR IN T.O. BARRETT
• While a pair of Tigers stole the show with buzzer beaters, it was T.O. Barrett how may have been the MVP for Mizzou.
• In his first collegiate start, Barrett tallied a career-best 21 points. His 21 points are the most by a Tiger making their first career start since Frankie Hughes scored 23 versus Alabama A&M in 2016.
• Overall, in the last four games, Barrett is tallying 13.5 points, while shooting 56.3 percent.
• Barrett has scored in double figures in three of the last four games – he scored at least 10 points just once in his first 35 career games.
• In 20 games as a sophomore, Barrett is averaging 6.7 points and 2.5 assists per game.
TRIO OF 20-POINT SCORERS
• T.O. Barrett wasn't the only Tiger to score 20-plus points in Saturday's win as he was joined by Mark Mitchell (25) and Jayden Stone (20).
• It marked the first time Mizzou had three players all score at least 20 points in the same game since Nov. 17, 2016 against Xavier.
• The Tigers are also the first team to have three 20-point scorers in an SEC game this season.
MR. VERSATILE, MARK MITCHELL
• Mark Mitchell continues to be the team's go-to weapon during the 2025-26 season.
• Mitchell is averaging a team-best 17.5 points and 5.5 boards, while ranking second with 3.2 assists.
• Mitchell is attempting to be the first Tiger to tally 17 points, five boards and three assists since Big Eight Player of the Year Anthony Peeler in 1991-92.
• In fact, he is one of only seven players in the nation to have totaled 350 points, 110 rebounds and 60 assists this season.
MAGIC NUMBER IS 73
• The goal for the Tigers is simply to score 73 points.
• Mizzou is a perfect 14-0 when tallying at least 73 points but are 0-6 when failing to reach the mark.
• Overall, the Tigers are averaging 80.7 points during the 2025-26 season – tallying 87.9 points in their 14 wins and 65.0 in their six defeats.
