ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Mizzou men's golf play was suspended Friday at the William H. Tucker Invitational due to weather, with the Tigers still in the midst of the second round at UNM Championship Course. Mizzou will resume round two at 8:30 a.m. CT Saturday, with round three beginning immediately after.

Freshman Antoni Hawkins holds the best score for the Tigers at 1-under par through 13 holes in round two after opening the tournament with a 1-under 71 during the first 18 holes – his first collegiate round under par during his young career. Hawkins recorded eight birdies and is shooting an even par so far through the second round.

Junior Paxton Maxwell is also turning an even par in the second round to tie Hawkins for the Tigers' strongest second-round performance before play was suspended. With four holes remaining in the round, Maxwell sits at 5-over for the tournament.

Junior Andy Yang, competing individually, enters Saturday at even par for the tournament after opening with a 1-under 71 in the first round, his best round of the season. Before play was suspended, Yang was tallying a 1-over 71 in the second round with four holes remaining.

Junior Trent Mierl is 3-over through the second round after opening the tournament with a team best 3-under 69, including an eagle on the 18th hole to close his opening round. 

Senior Veikka Viskari is 3-over in the second round through 13 holes. Viskari finished round one at 1-over before making the turn and is currently 4-over for the tournament.

In the first tournament of his season, sophomore Esteban Cruz Bonilla is 6-over through 14 holes in round two. Cruz Bonilla made the turn at 1-over before starting the second round, highlighted by an eagle on hole one of the first round.

The Tigers will return to the course at 8:30 a.m. CT Saturday to complete round two, with the final round scheduled to begin in the same groups immediately following the conclusion of the second round.
