COLUMBIA, Mo. — Mizzou tennis heads to Lincoln, Nebraska, to compete in the Husker Invitational from Sept. 25 to 27 to begin the fall season.

The invite will follow a round-robin format, hosted at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center, with the Tigers taking on competition from Denver, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wichita State.

The Tigers are kicking off the 2026-27 campaign under new head coach Robin Goodman. Goodman brings more than 10 years of Division I coaching experience, including five as a head coach.

Missouri is sending four newcomers to the Husker Invitational: transfer Millie Skelton and freshmen Leticia Bazan, Alba Salles Canudas and Evelyn Whiteside.

In the offseason, the Tigers added Skelton from Southern Methodist where she helped her team win the American Athletic Conference in 2023.

Bazan comes to Missouri from Lima, Peru, and has captured four junior titles prior to college. Salles Canudas hails from Barcelona, Spain, and earned the 2025 Spanish National Doubles Championship. Whiteside joins the Tigers from San Antonio, where she was ranked sixth in the state of Texas with a World Tennis Number (WTN) of 21.5.
