ST. LOUIS – Mizzou cross country had two athletes finish in the top five at the Billiken Invitational at Quail Creek Golf Club Friday morning, highlighted by Emmanuel Kiprop earning a top five finish in his collegiate debut with a 27:31.1 in the men’s 8K.
Morgan Yeomans led the women’s team with a third-place finish in 23:03.3, marking her first top-three finish in just her second collegiate race.
Both the men and women’s team placed second, finishing with 55 points and 48 points, respectively.
The men placed all five runners for MU in the top-20. Ethan Lee and Joshua Allison finished out the top-10 in eighth (28:01.3) and ninth (28:01.7). Joseph Bariola and Ethan Hogan finished in a tie for 19th, crossing the finish line in 30:39.3.
On the women’s side, four out of the five Tigers finished in the top 15. Maleah Eggers notched her best finish in seventh with a time of 23:40.3, followed by Elissa Barnard (23:49.8) in eighth.

- Natalie Barnard earned her second top-15 result with a time of 25:15.6.
- Lee posted a 28:01.3, earning his first top-10 finish.
- Allison notched his third top-10 finish with a time of 28:01.7.
