COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Football checked in at No. 25 in the Preseason Associated Press Poll, the AP announced Monday morning. The Tigers enter the season ranked in both major polls after also being slotted at No. 25 in the US LBM Preseason Coaches Poll on August 4.

It marks the second time in the past three seasons in which the Tigers began the season ranked in both major polls after beginning the 2024 season ranked No. 11 in both. Last season, Mizzou received votes in both of the preseason polls.

Mizzou opens the 2026 season with its Kickoff in CoMo Home Opener versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday, September 3 at 7 p.m. CT.
