Volleyball Hosts Drake for Preseason Exhibition

COLUMBIA Mo. - Mizzou volleyball continues its 2026 preseason with an exhibition against Drake at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Hearnes Center.

Admission to Saturday’s scrimmage is free for all fans; no ticket is required. Doors will open 60 minutes before the event.

Fans in attendance will receive schedule magnets and posters, while supplies last. They can grab post-match autographs from the team following the exhibition.

2026 PREVIEW

Mizzou volleyball begins the season with its fourth year under head coach Dawn Sullivan. After missing out on the NCAA tournament in 2025, the Tigers hope to rebound after reaching the dance the previous two years.

The Tigers take a youthful approach to the season, as the majority of their returning starters will be sophomores and juniors. MU will list three seniors for the 2026 season, as RS/OH Kimani Johnson, libero Kaylen Rush and transfer libero Ainoah Cruz will don the black and gold for their senior campaigns.

Mizzou will also have a new look to the squad, as it added a more international flavor to the depth charts. The Tigers will now host four players from different countries, as they welcomed two new players onto the roster this summer: Cruz (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) and Ceylin Kuyan (Istanbul, Turkey). These two will join junior Nina Mandovic (Subotica, Serbia) and sophomore Maca Lobaglio (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
