COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou tennis adds SMU transfer Millie Skelton (Hull, England/ South Hunsley/ SMU), announced head coach Robin Goodman on Monday, July 13.

Skelton arrives in Columbia, Missouri, with two years of collegiate experience at SMU, 2023-25. During her time as a Mustang, she collected a 16-29 record in singles and was 16-14 in doubles. In her sophomore season (2024-25), she was 6-1 in doubles and earned her highest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) doubles ranking of her career at No. 75 on Dec. 3. 2024.
The England native, picked up two wins in the 2024 ITA Texas Regionals against opponents from UTSA and UT Arlington. As a freshman, Skelton earned two singles wins in conference action, including a win over UTSA’s Magda Tuells in the first round of the AAC Tournament, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1. Moreover, she banked conference tournament doubles wins against Rice and Memphis alongside Maja Makoric to help SMU win the AAC.
Prior to college, Skelton attended South Hunsley and the Great Britain National Tennis Academy, holding a junior ITF ranking of 536 with a career-high ranking of 271. Her World Tennis Number was 19.9 in singles and 21.2 in doubles.
