COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou volleyball adds rising freshman Ceylin Kuyan (Istanbul, Turkey) to its 2026 roster, head coach Dawn Sullivan announced on Wednesday, May 6.

A native of Istanbul, Kuyan is from the Sisli district and brings elite international experience to Missouri. The 6-foot-3 outside hitter has spent the past two seasons competing with Zeren Spor Kulübü in Ankara, Turkey, where she developed into one of the country's top young players.

Kuyan made a strong impact on the international stage as a member of the Turkey U19 Girls' National Team. Over her career, she has earned recognition as a two-time Best Outside Hitter and a one-time Best Opposite.

Internationally, Kuyan helped lead Türkiye to a gold medal at the 2025 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival. She also contributed to a fourth-place finish at the 2025 FIVB Girls' U19 World Championship, including a 20-point performance in a five-set semifinal against Bulgaria and 12 points in the bronze medal match against Poland.

"I chose Mizzou because of the great program and the great coaches. I'm excited to be part of the Mizzou culture and I am excited to see how they can help me grow as a player and a person," Kuyan said.
