COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou track and field's Drew Rogers has been named to All-Southeastern Conference First Team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

This marks the second time in program history that a mile athlete has received the honor, since Martin Prodanov was the first to do so in 2020. It is also the fourth season that a male athlete has been selected as a member of the All-SEC First Team for the indoor campaign.

After taking home the honor at the 2025 SEC Cross Country Championship, Rogers adds the accolade to his two other All-SEC First Team team awards for track and field, when he won the 3000m at last year's SEC Indoor Championship and went on to place 12th in the 5000m at the conference's outdoor championship in May.

Rogers became the first male in program history to win three All-SEC First Team honors for both indoor and outdoor seasons, and the first male earn it for more than one indoor season.

Rogers won the mile with a time of 4:02.42, topping elite competitors including Florida's Oussama Allaoui and South Carolina's Jaouad Khchina. Rogers also ran the 3000m, where he placed 11th after crossing the finish line in 7:57.75.

To close out the season, the Tigers set their sights on competing at the NCAA Indoor Championship on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
