ATLANTA – Mizzou men's swimming and diving concluded the first two days of the NCAA Championships as senior Collier Dyer finished 18th in the 1-meter diving prelims on Thursday, March 26, at McAuley Aquatic Center.

After the first two days of competition, the Tigers participated in three events total: the 200-yard medley relay on Day One, the 200-yard free relay on Day Two, and two divers in the 1-meter diving preliminaries.

To start the 200-yard medley relay recorded a time of 1:24.33, finishing in 28th place. In the 200-yard free relay, the team placed 21st with a time of 1:16.85.

On the diving side, Dyer and Tanner Braunton both competed in the 1-meter diving preliminaries. Dyer nearly advanced after finishing 18th with a score of 317.60, while Braunton was 39th with a score of 271.60.

The Tigers will compete tomorrow, March 27, starting at 10 a.m. CT, as Jan Zubik starts the day with 100-yard back preliminaries, before Luke Nebrich takes part in the 50-free preliminaries. Wrapping up the swimming side, Mizzou will compete in the 400-yard medley relay. On the diving side, Dyer and Braunton will both take part in the 3-meter diving prelims.
