Track and Field Concludes Outdoor Season Opener at Yellow Jacket Invitational

TOP TIGERS

Sophomore Marlena Tresnjo took the victory in women's high jump, clearing 1.72m (5-7 ¾).

Senior Anna Vedral placed second in women's pole vault with a 3.75m (12-3 ½) to top her previous No. 9 program record for the outdoor campaign.

Houston transfer Dillon Leacock notched MU's No. 6 all-time result for 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 51.39 to place third.

RECAP

Senior Ames Burton finished the women's discus throw in fourth place, throwing 47.91m (157-2).

In his fourth outdoor season as a Tiger, Robert Hines ran a 21.67 in the men's 200m to place seventh, two hundredths of a second shy of his personal record.

Brianna Utecht established a personal best in the women's 800m, clocking a 2:20.52 to finish 28th.
