COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Mizzou track and field placed two in the top ten in the men's weight throw and qualified a pair of milers for Saturday's finals on the second day of the SEC Track and Field Indoor Championship at Fasken Indoor Track and Field.

Senior Sam Innes, the school record-holder, placed fourth in the weight throw at 22.22m/72-10.75 and junior Garik Pozecki was ninth (21.12m/69-3.50).

Senior Drew Rogers, the defending SEC champion in the 3000m, advanced in the men's mile with the third-best time at 4:02.11. Junior Suzy Lecoutre followed suit in the women's mile finishing 7th with a time of 4:39.85. The mile finals will be the first races on Saturday, beginning at 4 p.m. Rogers will return just under two hours later for the 3000m.
