The Mizzou men's basketball team plays its final home game of 2025, hosting Bethune-Cookman on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff at Mizzou Arena is set for 1 p.m. on SEC Network.
PROMOTIONS
• Mizzou will recognize the 1975-76 Tigers as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the team's accomplishments.
• The final home game of 2025, The Tigers are welcoming Santa and Mrs. Claus to Mizzou Arena.
• The Bank of Missouri Teddy Bear Toss, in support of the Salvation Army, is set for Sunday.
• Students can also take advantage of a study break with yoga from 11:30 to 12:30 in addition to free coffee and donuts.
1975-76 ANNIVERSARY
• Mizzou is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1975-76 team on Sunday.
• During the campaign, the Tigers went 26-5, won their first-ever Big Eight title with a 12-2 record and first overall title since the 1940 Big Six crown.
• Mizzou also advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 32 years – defeating Washington and Texas Tech to reach the Elite Eight.
• Willie Smith was named Big Eight Player of the Year, while Norm Stewart earned the conference's Coach of the Year accolades.
• Jim Kennedy and Kim Anderson also earned all-conference honors, while Stan Ray was Big Eight Newcomer of the Year.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Missouri is 9-2 this season, including an 8-0 mark at Mizzou Arena after defeating Alabama State on Thursday.
• Senior Mark Mitchell leads the Tigers with 18.1 points and 6.0 rebounds, while ranking second with 3.0 assists per game.
• Jacob Crews (14.4) and Anthony Robinson II (10.5) are also scoring in double figures.
• Robinson also leads Mizzou with 3.4 assists per game, while Shawn Phillips Jr. is tied for the team lead with 6.0 rebounds.
• The Tigers are averaging 87.2 points per game in 2025-26, while allowing 70.7.
ABOUT THE WILDCATS
• Bethune-Cookman owns a 3-6 record in 2025-26 and is coming off an 80-59 win over South Carolina State.

• Aterio Morris is second with 13.7 points, while leading the Wildcats with 3.7 assists.
• Bethune-Cookman is averaging 73.8 points in nine games, while allowing 78.8.

• The schools are meeting for the first time on the basketball court.

• MU has won 28 of 30 meetings versus the SWAC with 27-of-30 games decided by double digits.
• The Tigers have already defeated two SWAC teams this season, defeating Prairie View A&M on Nov. 17 and Alabama State on Thursday.

• Mark Mitchell has led the charge for Mizzou and has started the season on an elite level.
• Mitchell is averaging a team-best 18.1 points and 6.0 boards, while ranking second with 3.0 assists.
• In fact, he is one of just eight players in the nation averaging 18 points, six rebounds and three assists.

• While Mark Mitchell can do it all, he's still best known for his scoring ability.
• Mitchell leads Missouri with 18.1 points, which is the highest average by a Tiger through the season's first 11 games since Jordan Clarkson (19.9) and Jabari Brown (18.2) in 2013-14.

• With his strong early start, Mark Mitchell ranks among the nation's best in multiple stats.
• Leading the way is placing among the nation's top 100 in scoring – ranking fifth in the SEC and 85th in the country with his 18.1 points.

• Graduate student Jacob Crews has been one of the top shooters nationally this season.
• Crews leads the Tigers with 34 made 3-pointers and a clip of 51.5 percent from beyond the arc.
• He currently ranks 11th in the nation in 3-point percentage and 43rd with 3.09 triples per game.
• Crews has made at least three triples in seven of the last eight games – shooting 29-of-56 during the stretch (51.8 percent).
WHO WILL JOIN CREWS?
• While Jacob Crews has been at his best as of late, the Tigers are in search of somebody to help him beyond the arc.
• With two other top 3-point threats out with injuries (Jayden Stone and Trent Pierce), Crews has more combined makes in the last four games than the rest of the team combined (18 to 14).
