
Women's Golf Places Second at Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational

Mizzou women's golf finished at 17-over to place second in the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational on Tuesday at Lawrence Country Club in Lawrence, Kansas.
Missouri posted a tournament low six-over in the final round to earn its final position in the standings.
Senior Melanie Walker led the field in the third round, carding a two-under 69 to lead Missouri and take second individually in the tournament at one-over (70-75-69).
Senior Addie Dobson finished in eighth (70-76-74) after a three-over 74 in round three, while junior Fleur van Beek submitted a three-over final-round performance to finish at eight-over (72-75-74).
Host Kansas won the tournament at three-over. The Jayhawks Ebba Nordstedt claimed the individual title at six under (63-71-73)
UP NEXT
Missouri will travel to Lihue, Hawaii to compete in the 2025 Rainbow Wahine Invitational from Oct. 20-23.
