
Men’s Golf Returns to Action Monday in Ohio

The Mizzou men's golf team is back in action for the first time in two weeks, competing at the Moraine Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
TOURNAMENT INFO
The Moraine Intercollegiate is set for three rounds over two days, playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Both days of action are set to begin at 7:45 a.m. CT.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The teams will compete at Moraine Country Club in Kettering, Ohio – a par-71 course that measures 6,916 yards in length.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
The Tigers are one of 14 teams competing in Ohio this week. Joining Mizzou on the course is No. 8 Illinois, host Miami University, Bowling Green, Connecticut, Dayton, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Rhode Island, VCU, Wright State and Xavier.
STRONG START FOR VISKARI
Junior Veikka Viskari led the Tigers in each of the first three tournaments of the season – placing seventh overall at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, 11th at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational and 11th at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational.
In fact, Viskari is the first Tiger to finish in the top 15 of the first three tournaments of the season since Jace Long opened the 2012-13 campaign with three-straight individual victories.
