
Volleyball Inks Hawai'i All-American Caylen Alexander

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Volleyball Head Coach Dawn Sullivan and her staff announced Tuesday the addition of AVCA All-American transfer Caylen Alexander.
Alexander, a 6-0 outside hitter from Alpharetta, Georgia, transfers to Mizzou after three seasons at Hawai'i.
The 2024 Big West Player of the Year, Alexander, led the NCAA Division I with 611 total kills and ranked fifth in the nation with 5.09 kills per set for AVCA All-America Honorable Mention laurels.
Alexander also ranked second nationally with 676.5 total points and ranked seventh with 5.64 points per set. She totaled 20 or more kills in 15 matches to go with 15 double-doubles (kills-digs).
Alexander recorded a career-high 38 kills in a five-set win over Texas State on Sept. 14. She also posted 36 kills at UC Riverside on Nov. 7.
Alexander was also named to the AVCA All-Region (Pacific) and All-Big West First Team in 2024 along with a UH and conference record seven Big West Offensive Player of the Week awards.
As a freshman at Hawai'i, she earned 2022 Big West Freshman of the Year, All-Big West Second Team and Big West All-Freshman Team honors to go with six Big West Freshman of the Week selections.
Over her sophomore campaign, Alexander was tabbed an All-Big West Honorable Mention in 2023.
She appeared in 90 career matches (63 starts) with the Rainbow Wahine, compiling 1,225 kills with 643 digs, 133 total blocks and 88 aces over three seasons.
