Due to forecasted inclement weather, Mizzou soccer's match against No. 5 Tennessee will now begin 5 p.m. on Thursday at Audrey J. Walton Soccer Stadium. The contest will be live streamed on SEC Network+.
The game was originally slated for 7 p.m. but has been adjusted to ensure the safety of the student-athletes, staff and fans, while also maintaining appropriate field conditions for competition.
In honor of Sporting KC Night, the first 200 fans in attendance will receive a co-branded Sporting KC and Mizzou soccer scarf. Fans can also enter a raffle for a Sporting KC team-signed jersey and tickets to an upcoming match. The contest also serves as Fraternity and Sorority Life night, celebrating the Greek chapters on campus.
The contest between Missouri and No. 5 Tennessee marks the first time a top-five, nationally ranked SEC team has played at Walton Stadium since No. 3 South Carolina did on Oct. 19, 2018. The Tigers look to defeat a top-five opponent for the second time in program history, last doing so against No. 3 Texas A&M on September 28, 2007, by a 3-2 result in double overtime in Columbia.
