University of Missouri women's golf continued play through tough conditions at the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Arizona, on Monday.
Senior Ffion Tynan carded the seventh-best score in the field with a two-over 74, pacing the Tigers and climbing 18 spots on the day into eighth overall. Tynan's day was led by birdies on two of the course's four par fives.
Overall, three Tigers finished round two in the top-25 in a field that features 77 golfers in the tournament. Melanie Walker moved up 12 spots into 24th, posting a 76 on the day. Fleur van Beek stayed in the top-15 with a second round 79.
The Tigers are currently tied for eighth of 14 schools with a team score of +27, remaining ahead of nationally-ranked and No. 47 Miami.
Day three of the MountainView Collegiate is set for Tuesday morning with a 9:15 a.m. CT shotgun start.
