
ESPN Announces 2025 SEC Gymnastics Broadcast Schedule

Mizzou will be featured on the SEC Network five times during the upcoming season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Missouri gymnastics team will be featured on national television five times during the 2025 regular-season campaign, including two at home and three on the road, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday morning.
The Tigers will appear on SEC Network for each televised competition. This marks the fourth time in the last five seasons the Tigers have been featured on traditional broadcasting for five or more meets during the regular season.
Mizzou will host Kentucky on Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. and on Senior Day against Auburn on March 9 at 1 p.m. at Hearnes Center for its broadcasted home meets. On the road, MU will be aired competing at Oklahoma on Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m., at LSU on Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m. and at Florida on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
The SEC Championship will be aired exclusively on SEC Network. Sessions I and II will take place on March 22 inside Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
Oklahoma and Mizzou will meet for the first time since 2021 and for the first time in a regular-season dual meet since competing in Hearnes Center on Feb. 17, 2012. In the Sooners and Tigers' most recent outing, the programs competed in the 2021 NCAA Tuscaloosa Regionals, where the two teams finished first and second respectively in the first session. In the 2010 meeting, former NCAA All-American Sarah Shire earned the Tigers' sixth-best all-around score of 39.625, finishing with a 9.900 or better in three of the four events.
When Mizzou traveled to Lexington, Kentucky this past season, the program set its sixth-best score on bars in history, finishing with a 49.425 inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center. The rotation was anchored by Mara Titarsolej, whose 9.950 tied her for the third-best bars score in Tiger history. The Tigers will be searching for their first dual-meet win over the Wildcats since doing so at home on March 1, 2019, defeating Kentucky by a 196.250-196.000 result. MU holds 16 wins over Kentucky.
During the team's home meet against LSU in 2024, Mizzou set the program attendance record for a dual meet with 7,336 spectators, besting the previous high of 6,041 set the year prior. MU defeated its third-ranked opponent,197.325-197.225, for the highest-ranked win in team history and marked the third straight season with a top-five win. The Black and Gold reached program top-10 marks in three of the four competitions during the meet – tied for fourth on vault (49.425), tied for seventh on bars (49.400) and tied fourth on floor (49.600).
Helen Hu, a two-time NCAA All-American, set her career-best 9.950 on bars during the Tigers' 2020 meet against the Florida Gators. During the teams' most recent meeting at the 2024 Mizzou to the Lou meet, Florida took home the quad meet win with a 197.925 score. During the 2024 SEC Championship meet, Mizzou finishing just 0.0250 behind UF.
The last time the Tigers hosted Auburn in the 2023 season, Jocelyn Moore recorded Mizzou's first 10.000 on vault inside Hearnes Center. MU won the meet marking the 12th win against AU by a 197.450-196.550 margin, with Mizzou's total ranking as the 10th-best score in Black and Gold history. Mizzou has bested Auburn head-to-head in three of the previous four meets inside Hearnes Center.
Ahead of the 2025 season, head coach Shannon Welker landed four transfers and brought in a star-studded freshman class of five. Three-time All-SEC gymnast Hu announced her return to the roster and will use her final year of eligibility for the upcoming campaign in October.
Mizzou concluded the 2024 gymnastics season with a final national ranking of No. 11 according to RoadToNationals.com. The team finished its season in the NCAA Gainesville Regional Final, marking the fourth straight season the Tigers appeared in a regional final. MU returns 12 members from the 2024 squad.
