
Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri baseball Head Coach Kerrick Jackson has revealed the Tigers' complete 2025 schedule, which features dates with 14 different NCAA Regional qualifiers from a year ago, including two teams that advanced to the 2024 College World Series.
Mizzou's regular-season slate will consist of 55 total games (29 home, 26 away/neutral), including the Tigers' first season-opening trip beyond the borders of the continental United States as part of the Puerto Rico Challenge (Feb. 14-16) at Yldefonso Solá Morales Stadium in Caguas, Puerto Rico. The Tigers' 2025 campaign will feature at least 33 games against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams, highlighted by four home series versus Southeastern Conference opponents who made postseason appearances this past spring.
"When you combine our non-conference schedule with our SEC schedule, we were able to put together a very competitive spring schedule," Jackson stated. "Our guys have been getting after it all fall in preparation for the upcoming season, and we can't wait to get started."
Mizzou opens its 132nd season of varsity baseball against Penn State (Feb. 14) in the first of three games in Puerto Rico. That contest kicks off a seven-game road swing to begin the campaign, including dates with UConn (Feb. 15) and Stetson (Feb. 16) to wrap up the Tigers' opening weekend in Caguas.
MU will extend its season-opening trip with four additional games in the state of Florida, beginning with a midweek tilt at UCF (Feb. 19) in Orlando. The Tigers will also take part in the Andre Dawson Classic in Vero Beach, where Mizzou will match up with Florida A&M (Feb. 21), Alabama State (Feb. 22) and Southern (Feb. 23) at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex.
The Tigers return to Columbia for a 10-game home stand, hosting Lindenwood (Feb. 25) to open the home portion of their schedule. Mizzou welcomes Evansville (Feb. 28-March 2) and Binghamton (March 7-9) for a pair of four-game series, sandwiching a midweek contest against Southeast Missouri (March 4) to round out its initial set of games at Taylor Stadium in 2025.
Mizzou shifts its focus to conference play in mid March, when the Tigers open their 13th SEC season with a visit to Baton Rouge to take on LSU (March 14-16). The Tigers' annual baseball version of Braggin' Rights against Illinois (March 25), as well as back-to-back conference home sets against Ole Miss (March 21-23) and new league foe Texas (March 28-30) complete Mizzou's March schedule.
Next, the Tigers open a busy month of April with a two-game home midweek series against UAPB (April 1-2). Mizzou then embarks on a seven-game road trip, beginning with an SEC series against Arkansas (April 4-6) in Fayetteville, followed by a visit to SIU Edwardsville (April 8) and a three-game conference set with Florida (April 10-12) in Gainesville.
MU returns to Taylor Stadium for the first game of a home-and-home series with in-state foe Missouri State (April 15), followed by an SEC home set against Oklahoma (April 17-19). A midweek return date with Missouri State (April 22), as well as the first of two non-conference games with Kansas (April 29) and a three-game conference series with Alabama (April 24-26) comprise a five-game road swing to end the month of April.
The Tigers will conclude the regular season with a pair of May SEC home series against Georgia (May 2-4) and Mississippi State (May 15-17), as well as a home return date with Kansas (May 6), before traveling to College Station for their final league road set with Texas A&M (May 9-11).
For the first time in 2025, all 16 conference teams will compete in the SEC Baseball Tournament, which will once again take place in Hoover, Ala. (May 20-25).
