COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri wrestling competed in its annual Black and Gold Scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 25th. The afternoon featured 17 matches inside of Hearnes Center.
The scrimmage included a fall by Josh Edmond, who won his match over Jace Roller. During the final matches, Cam Steed, Keegan O'Toole, and Seth Nitzel had three technical fall victories over their opponents.
There were two major decision finishes, including one by Gage Walker, who defeated his classmate Mack Mauger 13-4. Tommy Hagan defeated his teammate Owen Uppinghouse 12-2.
Eight freshmen, including Walker, Mauger, Uppinghouse, Roller, Jake Crapps, Kolten Oborny, Logan Cole, and Jake Stoffel, had their first experience wrestling in Hearnes tonight.

Mizzou travels to Greely, Colo., to take on Northern Colorado for their first match of the season on Saturday, Nov. 2, as Big 12 conference action starts.
