Wrestling to Host Annual Black & Gold

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri wrestling returns to action for its annual Black & Gold scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 23.
The Tigers are coming off a season that saw them tie for 11th at last season's NCAA tournament, with three All-Americans. Seniors Keegan O'Toole (174) and Rocky Elam (197) return for their final year after becoming four-time All-Americans. Mizzou returns seven total national qualifiers from last season, including Noah Surtin, Kade Moore, Josh Edmond, Logan Gioffre and Colton Hawks.
In total, 10 Tigers appear in the individual preseason rankings by Intermat, with the team ranking eighth.
The wrestle-offs will start at 6 p.m. on Friday inside Hearnes Center, and admission is free. The Tigers are slated to run through 17 bouts across two mats.

Mizzou will officially begin the 2024-25 season with the Tiger Style Invite in Kansas City, Missouri, at Staley High School on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Invite begins at 10 a.m., and tickets are still available for purchase here.
